| Queensland Alumina Limited (Worlds largest alumina refinery) | Currently working (in conjunction with EsSCO) with QAL on a review of contract maintenance processes and procedures, including materials flow, site logistics, and job planning and performance measurement and auditing. The impact of these changes on roles and responsibilities is also being identified with supporting implementation plans to support the new way of doing work and managing contractors on site. Lean logistics philosophies and TQM have been embraced during the process. This project has been extended to include the development of a site wide logistics management process and contractor maintenance management policy and procedures. |

| GRAINCO Australia Limited | Created a customer focused culture within the Central Queensland region. Implemented training programs for growers to assist them in marketing their grain commodities in a deregulated market. Grain industry was previously regulated and grain was sold into regulated pools. Growers were trained in hedging, futures trading and risk management. Rationalised Central Queensland grain handling assets by closing under utilised depots and expanding throughput capability at other depots. |
